LA Virtual Atelier

Join Hollywood casting professional, Vanessa Toll, for an innovative and experiential look into the virtual audition process. This two-class series is available to talent all over the world, giving students the opportunity to watch and participate in a live virtual casting session - but not solely as an actor, and instead from the perspective of the casting office. 

Class one is pure observation and discussion, and most importantly, it's low-pressure! Led by Vanessa (who has run so many virtual audition sessions that she has almost forgotten what in-person auditions feel like... mostly kidding) students will observe a live casting session, discuss observations after initial reads, and then review the audition tapes from the day to compare initial thoughts to their impressions after review. 

Class two is the students' opportunity to put what they've learned into action, auditioning  with the same scene as the week before. Mirroring traditional virtual auditions, actors will have stacked audition times and individual time with casting. After auditions, the class will discuss their experiences, review tapes together, and we will finish up with a Q&A for any additional information that students might be looking for. 

Please note: Maximum class size is 8 students, and classes run approximately 2.5 hours each, held two weeks in a row at the same time slot. After purchase, you'll be prompted to select your first class date, and your second class will automatically fall one week later at the same time. You'll receive a link via confirmation email, followed by a separate welcome email with additional details, the audition scene, and your scheduled "audition time" for the second class.
